A&D MC-A/MC-M Series
Mass Comparators (Precision Balances with Extended Readability)
Enhanced Performance. Unchanged Value.
The A&D MC-A and MC-M series mass comparators are precision balances with extended readability, built for high-precision and automated weighing. Auto-centering pans correct eccentricity errors, an extra decimal place tracks small weight changes even under heavy tare weights, and Impact Shock Detection (ISD) alerts and logs high-impact events.
Four models cover capacities from 1100 g to 32.2 kg with readability from 0.0001 g to 0.01 g. The MC-A series features easy-to-adjust leveling feet with thumbwheels, while the MC-M series is IP65 dust and waterproof.

*Under good environmental conditions using the auto-centering pan, or with consistent positioning in automated systems.
- Auto-centering pans available for consistent accuracy through automatic correction of eccentricity errors
- Extra decimal place enabling accurate tracking of small weight changes in automated systems with heavy tare weights
- Impact Shock Detection (ISD) for reliable automation with alerts and logging of high-impact events
- Cushioning under the weighing pan to mitigate impact shocks significantly
- Tare memory function that saves the tare value in non-volatile memory
- AD-Just – Automatic self-sensitivity adjustment using the internal weight
- Minimum weight setting and alert functions
- Selectable response characteristics for trading weighing speed for higher display stability or vice versa
- User access control (UAC) that password-protects the balance from misuse
- GLP/GMP/GCP/ISO compliant output to meet documentation requirements
- Universal Flexi Coms (UFC) to customize printout content and layout*1
- Gross/Net/Tare output
- Data memory function to save weighing results, calibration results and unit masses to be used in counting mode in the device itself
- Counting mode with the Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI) function
- Percent mode function for target weighing or checking sample variation
- Animal weighing (average & hold) function for weighing moving objects
- Statistical calculation function (SCF) to facilitate the analysis of measurements
- Five-level comparator function with buzzer
- Auto power ON and OFF functions
- Underhook for weighing a magnetic material as well as measuring density
- Easy-to-adjust leveling feet with thumbwheels (MC-A)
- IP65 dust and waterproof (MC-M)
