The balance includes RS-232C and USB interfaces as standard for outputting weighing data and communicating with external devices. Optional accessories include a weighing data logger, weighing environment logger, compact thermal printer, remote display, and remote controllers.

Fortis balances include RS-232C and USB as standard. The RS-232C interface supports bi-directional serial communication with external devices such as a printer or PLC. USB can be used in Quick USB mode for plug-and-play weighing data output to a PC or Virtual COM mode for bi-directional communication. Optional Ethernet and Bluetooth interfaces are also available.
Can it support traceability and audits?
Yes. Fortis Analytical Balances have compliance output modes for GLP/GMP/GCP/ISO.
